The September 11th is a National Day of Service and Remembrance as an annual and forward-looking tribute to the 9/11 victims, survivors, and those who rose up in service in response to the attacks. The September 11 attacks were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks upon the United States in New York City and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area on Tuesday, September 11, 2001.

Dear Library Users,

September, the 16th will be a start for new project of American Library and Add Reading initiative.

Evgeniya Pirog, Ukrainian author and enthusiast   will present an Art Club sessions for children at American Library, NaUKMA. We are looking to further cooperation with students, teachers, parents and of course – children in order to start a new tradition at our library and to educate future artists, writers, actors.

During the sessions children will be able to write their own tales, stories, poems, make different illustrations and as a result – to prepare a book of children’s stories.

The first meeting is on September, the 16th at 11:00 a.m.

We are informing you about some changes in our opening hours.

Mon., September the 2nd we are opened from 10:00 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Tue. - Thu., September the 3rd - 5th we are opened from 10:00 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Friday, September the 6th we are working without film screening and discussion from 10:00 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sat., September the 7th and Sun., September the 8th - the library will be closed.

From Monday, September the 9th we will start working in new regime:

Monday - the library is closed for the users.

Tue. - Thu. - 10:00 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Fri. - 12:00 - 21:00 with film screening at 6 p.m.

Sat. - 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
