On Friday, May 23, American Library held a movie screening session conducted by Steven Wright, teacher of English language, displaying a movie by Clint Eastwood , "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". The participants had a discussion, exchanging their views and opinions on the movie.

This week we thought of a guide for everyone who might be seeking grants: nonprofits, state and local governments, universities, school administrators, teachers, artists, and those seeking funds for scholarly and cultural enterprises. Written by two authors who have won millions of dollars in grants, this book provides a step-by-step guide for grant writers, offering advice from funders and grant recipients.

Today Children's Library club in American Library Kyiv was dedicated to US geography. Students of elementary school were participating in discussions, asked questions and showed their knowledge on United States. On Thursday, May 29 at 12:00 American Library will hold a training “An excursion to the problem of scientometrics and exploring resources Web of Science from Thomson Reuters”. Participants will learn more about the main scientometric indicators, commercial and open access scientometric databases, get practical skills in the use of the platform Web of Science. Database Web of Science is the largest reference database and provides easy access to high-quality interdisciplinary relevant information for researchers, teachers and students.
