On Tuesday, 20 May, American library held a Library Club with a presentation by Elissa Sperling (Fulbrighter, Wesleyan University, USA) on topic "Specifics of Library Science in USA by personal example". Our readers and guests learned about public and university libraries in USA, conditions of library science and education.

We are happy to tell about succesfull accomplishment of the American Studies Institute of the US Embassy's course. American Library and US Embassy conducted virtual lecture series on “Social Movements and Political Change in the United States.” Professors from various U.S. universities participated via online video conferencing or video web chat, lecturing to students. Upon completion of the course students got their certificates from American Studies Institute of the US Embassy.
