NaUKMA has received access to international scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science within the state budget, together with more than 100 universities of the country, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science "On granting access to higher educational institutions and scientific institutions, which are subordinate to  the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, to electronic scholarly databases. "

Higher educational establishments and scientific institutions were selected by a specially created Commission, which included representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the State Scientific and Technical Library and the universities and research institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science. The Commission has taken into account such criteria as the method of organizing access to electronic scientific databases, the possibility of providing such access to other organizations, the number of publications in scientific journals included in the Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus, etc.

Access to these scientifically-based databases, Scopus and Web of Science, is an opportunity to follow international research, receive up-to-date and high-quality information from its subject, collaborate with foreign partners and receive citation data.
