The collection consists of over 500 American movies on DVD. These films are among the best American films (feature, documentary, animated cartoons) from the last 60 years. The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine donated this collection, along with equipment for showing the films.
You can view the list of the American Library DVD-film collection and order them through the Library catalog.
The American Library has a film viewing program Film Screening and Discussion. On Fridays, library patrons are invited to watch an American film and discuss it with a native English speaker or FLEX alumni.
There is also a kid’s movie program each Friday at 12 p.m. You can bring your kids and watch animated movies in English.
You need to join the Library to attend film showings (see the American Library Policy)
