Yesterday (on Thursday, April 9) American Library held Children's Library Club. This time schoolers talked about favorite school disciplines, enlarged their English vocabulary, watched movies in English, draw and made good cheer.

Yesterday (on Wednesday, April,8) American Library held 2 trainings for researchers, scientists and students: "Google Scholar for researchers" and "Scientometric Databases". Both trainings, performed by Sergiy Nazarovets (Deputy Director for IT, NaUKMA), turned out to be in great request.

In this engaging and entertaining mini-comic book, children (and adults) share in the adventures of time traveler Scooter McGinty as he celebrates Thanksgiving with the Pilgrims, rides through Lexington with Paul Revere, joins Lewis & Clark's Corps of Discovery, supports women's rights, and more. Includes background notes and teaching ideas.

Today American Library held Children's Club meeting. Topic for today was "Bambie" - in view of this we watched the "Bambie" movie in English, learned new unknown words and depicted the story on paintings. Which we found beautiful, by the way =)
