Libraries of “Window on America” are hosting events for “Science Slam Ukraine” Award, which aims to promote Science, create a positive image of Ukrainian researchers, as well as Library’s reputation in the quality of intellectual center and engaging the youth.

Science Slam – is an international initiative for popularization of Science, which organically combines contest, science and rock-and-roll.

Science Slam – is an Award, in which young scientists unveil their own scientific surveys from the stage and compete for audience’s acknowledgement and cheers.

Yesterday we held another Children's Club at American Library. Schoolers from local Kyiv schools got to know Library and it's collections, we learned English words, watched movies, listened to fairy tales and had a lot of fun  =)

November is Native American Heritage Month. American Library joins in paying tribute to the rich ancestry and traditions of Native Americans. This time we picked books about history of native people in the United States, their culture, traditions, music, crafts, dance, ways and concepts of life.

International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.
