During the relatively quiet summer months, our readers have a chance to turn the library into a living room, and watch movies. Our Film collection consists of over 600 American movies on DVD. There is also a kid’s movie program each Friday at 12 p.m. You can bring your kids and watch animated movies in English.

The Science Fiction collection at American Library includes many works in the genres of science fiction, fantasy, and horror by both well-known and lesser-known authors, including Poul Anderson, Isaac Asimov, Robert Silverberg, Clifford D. Simak, Theodore Sturgeon, J.R.R. Tolkien, H.G. Wells, Dennis Wheatley, Jack Williamson, and many more.

During summer vacations our readers like to establish lists of unread literature. Among the most popular are such prominent American novels: "The Great Gatsby", "To Kill a Mockingbird", "Atlas Shrugged". Get yourself reading more this summer at American Library!
