American Library is happy to be involved in our neighbours celebration - Omeljan Pritsak's Birthday. We have opened new spaces and new entrance to the American Library together with James Mace and Omeljan Pritsak Memorial Libraries. In common efforts this year we managed to develop new spaces (reading rooms and entrance). Omeljan Pritsak (7 April 1919, Austrian Galicia – 29 May 2006, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.) was the first Mykhailo Hrushevsky Professor of Ukrainian History at Harvard University and the founder and first director (1973–1989) of the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute.
