In spite of cold weather, American Library continues educational process. On Monday, October 6, we held a lecture "Computerized informational technologies in modern Libraries". Students learned about digital Libraries, which in future will be among the most important institutions of society, giving control to constantly increasing body of information.

On Friday, October 3, American Library held training about scientific electronic archives. This training was arranged as a part of the course "Basic concepts of Bologna Process in NaUKMA" for students, teachers, researchers.

World Vegetarian Day encourages us all to eat our vegetables and fruits. A vegetarian, by definition, eats no meat. That includes fish and other forms of seafood. Bottom line is, a vegetarian eats no animal. Their diet consists of plants....fruits and vegetables. They are ethically and morally opposed to killing animals for food. They are also against poor treatment of animals at farms ad slaughterhouses. This day we've chosen books on nutrition, dieting, eco and green movements, and cookbooks offering vegetarian recipes.
